Large bedroom in an apartment on the East River!

The room: About 13’8 x 9’7" feet.

Furnished with bed, desk, &
Dresser.

Incredible city views (west facing). Large closet in the room. AC/ heater in room.
The apartment: Neat, well-decorated living room with a gorgeous view down the East River toward Roosevelt Island (and a shared TV).

Full kitchen with shared pots/pans, plates/bowls, utensils, etc., and tons of pantry space.

Two hall closets with shared vacuum, swiffer, broom, and home tools.

The roommates: Three roommates (1 female 2 males) seeking additional female roommate.

We all generally keep to ourselves, but we do sometimes convene in the living room.

No notice required to have friends and dates over, though it is appreciated for larger groups.

You would share the main bathroom with two others (the third has an en-suite); because everyone has a pretty routine schedule, overlapping in the bathroom is virtually never an issue.

The complex:
Incredibly serene, private apartment complex with 24-hour doormen and parking security. Laundry in-building.

Maintenance always responds within a day or two. Huge riverside plaza with plenty of seating, where you can have beer, wine, food, and small parties. The complex also houses an elementary school, so you'll see kids playing on and around the plaza during the day.

Management regularly holds resident-focused events, such as live music, cocktail hour, etc.

The fitness center (membership fee required) features several gym spaces, a giant pool, and a sauna. Plus, there's a Gristedes, a cafe/pizzeria, a dry-cleaning service, and a nail salon right on the plaza.

The location:
The M34A bus stop is literally inside the complex; it runs east-west on 34th Street, stopping for example at Penn Station and Hudson Yards. The M34 bus stop is 10 blocks north. There is a Citibike dock one block east. The closest train stations are the 14th/1av L and the Madison Square Park 6/RW/FM. The complex also has a shuttle that runs to Union Square and Grand Central.
