Peaceful Inwood Share, Lives Like 1BR

Looking for someone wonderful to rent a large bedroom in a beautiful, light-filled pre-war apartment in Inwood.

The apartment is 1500 square feet and has an unusually open, comfortable feel — honestly more like a house than a typical NYC apartment. It’s gorgeous during the day with tons of natural light and a calm, airy energy. There is an elevator and laundry in the building. Ideally seeking someone who would like to settle in and make this home for a while.

This is technically an apartment share, but it will function much more like a private one-bedroom for most of the year. I travel often and will mostly be living elsewhere, so you’ll have regular private use of the bedroom, living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. I expect to stay in the apartment for approximately 3 or so weeks per year, with advance notice and clear communication. During that time, I would use the second bedroom, and I would be respectful of your privacy and shared use of the space.

You would have:
* A huge king-sized bedroom with plenty of room for additional furniture or a work-from-home setup
* King mattress included
* Air conditioner in the bedroom
* Large living room
* Separate dining space
* Galley kitchen
* 1 bathroom
* Partially furnished common spaces with room to make it your own

Included furnishings:
* Couch
* Side tables
* Coffee table
* TV stand
* Some limited kitchen supplies

The apartment is on Broadway near the Cloisters, Isham Park, Fort Tryon Park, and Inwood Hill Park.

Transit is excellent:
* A train - 2 blocks - end of the line, always a train in the station
* 1 train - 1 block up and one ave over

This setup is ideal for someone who wants a spacious, peaceful NYC home base without feeling cramped or crowded.

* Utilities are not included
* Looking for someone respectful, communicative, and clean who will genuinely care for the space
*Available June 1. Strong preference for a one-year sublease, though I may consider a shorter minimum term for the right fit.
