My name is Marco Lizarraga, and I'm looking for someone to do a lease takeover, as I'm moving into another apartment at the start of next month.
The rent is roughly $1,550/month. With WiFi and gas, that's usually around $1,630 (summer months are higher). The room was originally a living room but has been used as a bedroom. It's fairly large, has two large windows, faces the street, and, as you can see, there's room for quite a bit of furniture. The bed is a Twin XL, although you could comfortably fit a much larger bed.
One bathroom. 3 bedrooms = 2 other roommates. In-Unit Washer/Dryer. 4-flight walk-up. Easy, big roof acess.
The apartment is located in Hell’s Kitchen, close to the Hudson River (great for walks, especially in the evening), and surrounded by awesome bars, restaurants, and great nightlife.
A few key details:
- My move-out date will be sometime between the 1st and 4th. I won't be able to make the exact date concrete for another couple of weeks.
- A $1,465 deposit is required. You'd send it to me, and that would cover your deposit responsibilities with management. It's technically less than the current monthly rent, but that's because $1,465 was the security deposit/monthly rent in prior years.
- Whoever moves into this room has responsibility for Spectrum, ConEd, sending payments through the rent portal, and submitting maintenance requests through the portal. If you don't consider yourself someone who is comfortable dealing with that responsibility, I would say that's a dealbreaker.
- Cleanliness is important. Being mindful of noise is important. Basic communication is important. I've been good about these things, and whoever moves into this place should also follow through with that.
- The other two roommates are good people, in my opinion!
Outside of all that, things should be pretty awesome and chill! Reach out if interested!
