Hello! I have a long-term opening for 1 small bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment in Hell’s Kitchen available May 1st for $1900/month. Subletting is month-to-month, and a security deposit of one month’s rent is required with the first month’s rent.

The building is a pre-war walkup and we’re on the 3rd floor. We’re in a great location; it’s a 5-15 minute walk to Times Square, the Theater District, Central Park, and the Hudson River, AND, nearly any type of food you could possibly want from around the world is just steps away. We have a post office, a hardware store, a bodega, and a laundromat (that also delivers!) within a one-block radius. There is also one washing machine and one dryer in the basement that is paid through an app.

The room was recently painted and upon move-in comes with a full-size mattress, a bed frame, an air conditioner, and a number of space saving items. You are free to keep, use, dump, sell; whatever you like! The room and kitchen are on the smaller side, but have served our purposes well.

We keep the common spaces tidy. The apartment is very quiet despite its busy location, because it is in the back of the building and shielded from street noise. You will be sharing the apartment with two easy-going females. The apartment and surrounding area are LGBTQ+ friendly. It’s not a very big apartment, but I can promise you a warm and peaceful home in the middle of Manhattan.

I am a toilet paper “under” person. If you’re an “over,” I’ve lived with you people before. We can live in peace. When I put it on, it’s under. When you put it on, it’s over. We make it work.
