I am a family man with three kids living upstate who comes down to the city for 2-3 nights a week for work. Sometimes even less. I rarely ever come down for the weekend. When I am there, you would hardly notice. I notify you ahead of time with my schedule, so you are aware of the nights I will be in. I am generally out before 7:30AM when I am in. I never use the kitchen.
All utilities would be your responsibility. The electric bill is in my name, but you would pay for it. If you want cable (or a tv), that would be your responsibility. I use a cell phone connection for my internet access.
Apartment is a railroad apartment. There is a large kitchen, small bathroom, large common space, small bedroom, extra room (home office), two closets, and my bedroom. You have full ownership of all the rooms but mine. I will have no furniture or items in any of the other rooms. You also have the option of choosing the furniture my current roommates wants to leave or sell, or bring in your own.
There are two entrances to the apartment, one of which goes into my room, while the other goes into the living room.
There are restaurants and bars in abundance in the area, and Amy's Bread is just downstairs. There is a laundromat that is part of the building as well.
