Looking for Roommate in Harlem!

hey! i’m looking for a roommate to renew my current lease with me in harlem

the apartment:

the apartment is super close to the 148th st stop on the 3 train and near the ACBD lines. i’ve lived in this unit for 3 years and i’m planning on renewing for 1 or 2 years.

this is a 2 bed 1 bath rent stabilized apartment with an in unit washer dryer. you’d be getting the bigger room with 2 closets and the fire escape attached, which is $1,500 per month. utilities are always under $100 each per month, with it getting closer to $100 each during the summer months.

i’ll be getting the apartment professionally cleaned at the start of the lease renewal

about me:
i’m 25 and from jersey but i’ve been living in nyc for 8 years now. i went to nyu and then moved to harlem soon after graduation. i love hiking, citibiking, going to concerts, traveling, and trying new foods. i work in medical device sales and i’m typically out of the apartment between jersey and nyc from mon-fri. i’m cool with guests but prefer to not bring the party home regularly (i’m always down for some fun with a heads up). i don’t have any pets but i love cats! lastly i’m a little sensitive to noise like constant humming, slamming, stomping, etc.

what im looking for in a roommate:
- 420 super friendly
- considerate and proactive with chores (i’m pretty chill w chores but let’s get em done in a timely manner!)
- full time job, preferably no wfh
- NO xenophobes, maga, zionists, etc. i’m not flexible on this! major leftist vibes over here
- financially responsible and pays bills on time
- open communication
