THE APARTMENT:
Comfortable, quiet 2-bedroom apartment in Harlem that I’ve happily called home since 2008. About 600 sq. ft., with hardwood floors, good natural light and a relaxed, lived-in feel.
• ~600 sq. ft., 2-bedroom

• Hardwood floors and nice natural light

• 1 shared bathroom with marble tile

• 4th-floor walkup in a clean, well-maintained building

• Bedroom is quiet with virtually no street noise

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
• Tree-lined residential street, one block from Jackie Robinson Park

• A, B, C, D & 3 trains are about a 5–7 minute walk away

• About 15 minutes to Times Square station-to-station on the express

• Just across the Harlem River from Yankee Stadium

• Super Foodtown, Walgreens and New York Sports Club all within two blocks

• Wash-and-fold/laundromat directly across the street

• Starbucks three blocks away, plus a couple of neighborhood coffee shops nearby

THE ROOM + DETAILS:
• Furnished bedroom with bed/foam mattress, nightstand, lamp, television, window AC Unit

• Bedroom closet with additional storage space

• $1,550/month, including all utilities (electricity, gas, heat, Wi-Fi, etc.)

• Optional monthly cleaning service would be about $75/person

• September 1 move-in preferred, but negotiable for the right person

I also have a small dog named Flaco. He’s quiet, very chill and generally keeps to himself. Your bedroom would be your space, and he wouldn’t go in unless invited.

IDEAL ROOMMATE:
Looking for someone respectful, courteous and easy to live with who keeps shared spaces clean and is willing to split normal household cleaning responsibilities.

Ideally, someone friendly, easygoing and independent who enjoys having a comfortable rapport with the person they live with. Someone who’s happy to occasionally chat, share a meal or hang out, while also valuing their own space and routine. A non-smoker who’s comfortable with the occasional friend stopping by or an overnight guest from out of town would be a great fit.

A good sense of humor is always a plus.

ABOUT ME:
I’m a laid-back and respectful guy in my late 40s, college educated, and work professionally in the commercial photography/advertising industry. I have a hybrid schedule but work from home most days.

Home life is pretty low-key. I usually come home, order dinner or cook, watch a little YouTube, eventually put on The Golden Girls, and call it a night. 😊 I enjoy cooking, going out and socializing now and again, but home is generally a quiet place to decompress.

I’ve lived in this apartment since 2008 and genuinely love the apartment, the management company and the neighborhood. I’m looking for someone who’ll enjoy living here too.
