I’m subleasing a private basement room in a three-story house from April 1 to April 31. Rent is $1600/month, all utilities included.

The basement is private and very comfortable. It is spacious and includes a small private bathroom.
Dishwasher, fridge, microwave and oven in the kitchen.
Private patio.
Laundry in-unit!

The house is a three-story home. On the second floor lives a lawyer from California. On the first floor, where the shared kitchen is located, lives a 29 year old male artist from India. His cousin works in M&A, and stays with him when he is in New York. That said, since the room is in the basement, you’ll enjoy a lot of privacy and a quiet living environment.

The house is calm, respectful, and ideal for someone who values peace—perfect for studying, resting, or working remotely. We’re looking for someone who fits well with the household, ideally around our age, who cares about keeping the shared spaces clean and tidy, and who might enjoy the occasional shared sushi dinner.

Excellent area — only 7 minutes walking distance to the 2, 3, A, B, C, and D subway lines, plus several bus lines (M1, M2, M3, M4, and more). Very close to 125th Street, where you’ll find everything you need (Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, gyms, and more).
