About the space:

My current co-tenant is relocating, and we are looking for someone to occupy her bedroom for the remaining 5 months of our current lease term.

The Rent: $1,650/month (price includes utilities)

Dates: October 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 (5-month room rental, option to sign onto the lease renewal in March 2027 dependent on landlord approval)

Location: Harlem (steps from 145th St Local 1 and Express A/C/B/D trains)

Layout: 3-Bedroom apartment. The rent gets you 1 private bedroom + 1 dedicated shared home office/workspace + shared living room, kitchen, bath

Apartment Highlights:

- The room is fully furnished with a full size bed + dresser + closet

- We have In-Unit Washer & Dryer

- The third room is a dedicated shared office room as I tend to do work from home and do virtual calls. If this is NOT something you need but are still interested in the listing, the rent will be lower.

- High ceilings, updated kitchen, fully furnished common areas

The main thing I am looking for in a roommate is someone clean, respectful, and reliable to pay rent. Someone who values a calm, quiet home environment as this is not a party house.

Other Requirements Include:

No Additional Pets (one dog already in home, space not large enough to accommodate another. NO CATS.)

Proof of annual income of at least $62,000 (standard 40x rent requirement) OR proven ability to cover rent amount per month through Feb 2027

References: Past roommate reference and employer verification required

Deposit: First month’s rent + security deposit due upon signing roommate agreement
