Looking for a roommate to move in on or before September 4th! This would technically be a sublease but we are looking for someone to stay long term. A 6 month commitment at minimum but the ideal would be 12 months or longer.

This is the largest bedroom in a 4-bedroom apartment, with 2 windows + a fire escape. Rent is $1,100/month + utilities.

📍 Location: 5th floor walk up, about a 5-minute walk to the 1 train and ~10 minutes to the A/C/B/D. We’re also one block from Riverside Drive & Riverside Park/Hudson River, with tons of grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. We are a ~15 minute walk to City College and a 10 min train/bus ride!

🏡 The apartment:
• 4 bedrooms, all female roommates
• There is no central AC but a window unit does the trick! An AC unit can be bought off the current roommate for $150 (already installed and brand new!)
• Washer in unit!
• Ceiling fan in the common area
• Clean, safe, quiet building
• We rotate cleaning responsibilities monthly
• We’re all pretty busy and out of the apartment often, but we make an effort to ensure our space is a calm, quiet, reprieve from the city
• We’re respectful about having guests over and always give each other a heads-up
• Open to rearranging the common space/layout if you have ideas
•Bed frame and desk also for sale by the previous roommate and can be purchased from her for $100!

👯‍♀️ Roommates: You’d be living with me, a paralegal, and two other women. One is a journalist and the other works in theatre. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and easygoing.

💰 Monthly costs:
• Rent: $1,100
• WiFi: ~$25/person
• Electricity: ~$25–$75/person depending on the season
• Move-in: September rent + security deposit
