This listing is for a private, fully furnished corner bedroom in a spacious 1,600 sq ft renovated prewar apartment on Riverside Drive. The apartment is airy, quiet, and sunny, making it especially comfortable for extended stays.

The bedroom is the largest corner room in the apartment, approximately 175 square feet, with excellent natural light and generous storage. It includes a queen bed with a premium Casper mattress, under-bed storage for luggage or seasonal items, a dedicated desk and chair for remote work or studying, a dresser, and ample closet space. Large windows provide open views of the Hudson river, great airflow, and a bright, comfortable atmosphere for longer stays. Extra quiet Midea airconditioner installed for the summer. High-quality linens, towels, and extra blankets are provided.

The apartment has two full bathrooms. While everyone shares the bathrooms, you will have primary use of the bathroom closest to your bedroom, you can basically consider it a private bathroom.

Shared areas include a fully renovated kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher, as well as dining and living areas. The living space features a projector setup for movie nights (there is no TV).

Guests have exclusive use of their private bedroom and shared access to common areas of the apartment, including the kitchen, dining area, living space, and bathrooms.

High-speed internet is available throughout the apartment, and a weekly professional housekeeper cleans shared spaces to help keep the home comfortable and well maintained for everyone.

The building has an elevator and laundry facilities in the basement. Guests also have access to a gym and 24/7 resident lounge located in the adjacent building.

The apartment is located at 137th Street and Riverside Drive, directly across from Riverbank State Park. The 1 train is just steps away, making it easy to reach Midtown Manhattan in approximately 20 minutes. The neighborhood is walkable, with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a grocery store, and Duane Reade nearby, and offers easy access to waterfront paths, uptown culture, and New Jersey via the George Washington Bridge.

We live here full time and will be present during your stay. One of us works as a nurse, and the other works in social services. We’re tidy, communicative, and thoughtful about sharing space, and we value open, respectful communication.

We occasionally host friends for dinner and sometimes have visiting family or friends stay in our guest bedroom. When this happens, we always give advance notice.

We also share our home with a friendly, well-behaved dog. Guests should be comfortable around dogs — bonus if you enjoy puppy cuddles or a quick game of tug. (We are not accepting stays with additional pets, please.)
