Hi, I'm Paul. I'm a 65 yr old architect/photographer. I'm older but very young at heart. A New Yorker 47 yrs, I just found a unique floor-through brownstone apartment in Hamilton Heights that's easily divisible into 2:
$1400/person, 1yr lease, 144th/Amsterdam (tree-lined). 5 mins to ABCD, 3 mins to 1.
Essentially, this apt will become (2) 14x15 studios with total privacy (I respect all genders) with a kitchen and bathroom in the middle. Both rooms have great light. The front room faces South towards the street. The back room faces North towards the backyard. There just won't be a living room but there will be a beautiful backyard garden where you can meditate.
There's a laundry in the basement with a nice seating area to sit and read. The unit is on the 1st floor, has nice high ceilings, and wood trim on all doors and openings. There's an enormous amount of closet space.
I've lived almost everywhere in NY and a place like this is like striking gold. We could have 2 separate leases or assign it to one. Immediate move-in (but will consider later if cost of pre-moving time is covered).
I'm a trustworthy , amicable guy; everything friendly and totally respectful of others' privacy. I'm available as a mentor if you're young (I'm as sane as can be) with stories to tell of NY in the 70's. Kindly reply ASAP. This will go quickly.
