Hello World,
I am looking for one roommate to split a 2br/2ba apartment at W 137th Street and Broadway. This apartment is great because it is literally around the corner from the 137th Street Station on Broadway, down the street from Riverside State Park on Riverside Drive, and features easy access to the Riverside Park Highway. If you like being in the city, but value green spaces, this is the apartment for you. This neighborhood is a hidden gem for those seeking a higher quality of life at a discount.
For drivers, there is room on the street for a car, and there are freeway entrances for both directions nearby at 125th Street and 12th ave and 133rd and 12th Ave. The street is quiet, well lit, and is monitored by security cameras at night.
This 1st floor apartment on the corner of the building is relatively new with modern appliances and finishes. It has sufficient natural lighting from the alley and the street-facing side. It has a washer and dryer in the unit and a dishwasher. The apartment has been kept in good condition, and the management is very responsive to complaints.
If you decide to join me, you will have your own private bathroom and you will also have access to a home theater room , which doubles as a guest room, as well as a creative studio where you can work from home. I currently have it set up to facilitate 3D printing and music projects. I am a social person and I imagine we will share the apartment with our guests and have parties.
The room that is available is partially furnished. All you would have to do is bring your own bed. It can also be delivered vacant if you prefer.
About me:
I'm 28. I work in commercial real estate, and I am a student at Columbia University where I study mathematics. In my spare time, I like to play my violin, go rock climbing, and ride my bike. Because of my work schedule, I'm mostly gone during the day. I live with my dog, Beans, who is a 55lb Pitbull Mix. He is a friendly, playful dog that does not bark very often. I'm not strongly opposed to smoking, but I'm trying to quit and I want to be around people who will not create too much of a distraction in the substances department. I'm an open-minded, left-leaning person. I'm originally from Seattle, so you can expect all the crunchy granola that comes with that. In the past, I have enjoyed building friendships with roommates, and I hope that can continue to be a possibility. For what it's worth, I am a Libra ;).
