The resident of an intentional community in NYC is seeking to sublet his room for the month of December. 24 housemates on five floors of a brownstone. 140 square feet, twin bed, with a shared bath. Fifth floor walk-up (no elevator!). Five communal meals a week. Common parlor, dining room. The sublettor will be expected to participate in the life of the community (which is a pleasure) and will be assigned light chores (cleaning the common areas). The usual resident’s belongings will be in the room, leaving some drawers and closet space for the temporary occupant. This is a selective community and applicants will be interviewed by management and residents -- two Zoom meetings. In Gramercy, a quiet neighborhood of midtown Manhattan. Great opportunity for the right person. $1,200 pm with security. No one is allowed in the building under any circumstances without proof of vaccination. Try communal living!
