$2,150 Rent East Village Apartment (Roommate)

Hi - My friend is moving out to live with his girlfriend and looking for a roommate to fill this room for a full year lease starting on September 1st. No subletting, half leases, etc.

12 month lease. Rent is $2,150 (Paid via Zelle directly to the owners) + Wifi & ConEd ~$100-200 per month (Venmo / Zelle to me)

399 E 8th Street. Between Ave C and D.

I have been at this apartment since June 2021 and do not want to give it up. Love the apartment and great building. Elevator, rooftop, small gym, package room w/ pool table, bike room, etc. You can see the full specs when you look up the address online.

AC and heat in the apartment work very well. Large unit in each room. Dishwasher and washing machine (+ dryer for wrinkles, but wet clothes need to be hung to dry. We use drying racks)

Looking for a male roommate who is quiet, respectful, and clean. Just looking for a cordial living situation. Not interested in undergrad students, couples, or pets. Not looking for someone who goes out / out late, hosts people, has guests stay the weekend, or generally a nuisance. If that is your lifestyle, that’s awesome, but not interested in having you move in.

About me, I am 26 years old, I work in the office every day and also run a vintage clothing and antique business on the side via eBay and also through a shop in Brooklyn. If I am not at my main job, I am doing this pretty much every day before work, after work, and on the weekends.
I am pretty busy, very rarely go out, and like to have the apartment very clean and quiet. Weekdays and weekends. My girlfriend of 4 years lives close by so the only person I would have over would be her, but also I would spend some nights there as well. Will not be hosting parties, making noise, and will not be in your way. I keep the apartment very neat and clean the best I can. Happy to hire a professional cleaner before the move in as well.

See all stock and current photos of the apartment / potential open room. All of the furniture, dishware, glassware, and decorations are mine. Obviously your room will be emptied, but no need to bring in anything else unless you want to.
