Seeking Roommate for 1st floor 3bd apt in East Vil

Hey! My name is Will, I currently live in my 1st Floor 3bd apartment with my friend Carlo on 13th St between 3rd and 2nd Ave in the East Village. Our previous roomie moved out last week, so we’re looking for someone to join us as a subletter for the remainder of our lease (which started in September 2025). If all goes well we might be interested in resigning also. We’re targeting a mid-April move-in, with a May 1st move-in at the latest.
The rent is $1850 per month for the open room. Heat and water is included, but we pay for electricity and Wi-Fi, which is roughly 50-75 bucks per person a month. The room is roughly 8’x11”, so it easily fits a full bed and a desk. There are so many shelves built into the walls in our rooms, so storage is not an issue. Our common space is a combo living room/ kitchen. We share 1 pretty spacious bathroom with a standing shower. We don't have a washer/ dryer, but there are several options close by.
Our place is in an amazing location right next to the 3rd Av L Station as well as Union Square. It's pretty quiet on the street, but less than a 5min walk away from most of the livelier places in the neighborhood. Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target, CVS, CityMD, and the gym I go to are right down the street. There's also a convenience store and a really good pizza shop on the other side of the street from my building ;)
A bit about us: I'm a 25 yr old engineer, and I paint, play volleyball, and go out in my free time. Carlo is a 24 yr old creative who likes to write, draw, act, explore the arts scene in the city, and bakes/cooks like nobody’s business. We’re gay so this is a LGBTQ friendly space, though we’re open to living with anyone regardless of gender/ sexuality. We’re looking for people around our age who are friendly, honest, and who we would get along well with. Also, generally tidy lol. If you're interested, reach out!
