My current roommate is moving out, so I am looking for someone to take over their spot on the lease and join me in this 2BD/1BR apartment!

The new lease starts on June 1, 2026, making this a perfect setup for the summer and beyond.

The apartment is on the second floor of a classic East Village ex-tenement house. It is small, but cozy and very functional.

The location is just unbeatable. We are steps away from Tompkins Square Park and extremely close to NYU, making it an ideal spot for students. Super central spot in the EV, with easy access to the 6 train at Astor Place, the L train, and the F/M/J/Z at Delancey-Essex. Multiple major bus lines (M8, M15, M14) are also just a short walk away.

I am an international PhD student at NYU, in my late twenties. Easy-going, quiet and clean, ideally looking for the same: a roommate who is chill but values a tidy home and a good overall vibe.
