1 bedroom for rent in a 2 bedroom Co-Op apartment in the East Village, Lower East Side area of Manhattan. I am looking for a new roomate to move in Feb 1st. Looking for someone low key and relatively quiet to take the space. I don’t drink so I would prefer someone with a more similar lifestyle. Electric bill is split down the middle and Verizon Fios internet will be covered by me :)… Hopefully we vibe as I am a pretty easy person to live with. There is a bed and dresser in the room that can be kept, as well as a very large screen TV mounted on the bedroom wall included. There is also already a window air conditioner unit installed. Sadly, no pets allowed. It is a 6th floor walk up. Most people in the building own, so everyone is very friendly. I haven’t seen a single bug or rat in this building in the 3 years I’ve been here so it is definitely a gem as far as lower Manhattan goes. The lease ends May 1st that I will most likely renew. Slight chance of a rental increase. 1 month rent due to move in and 1 month security. Rent due at the 1st of each month and I will send a screen shot of electric each month. Both parties required to give 2 month notice to each other if other living arrangements are needed to be made. Hopefully we are the best roommates ever! lol.
