This room is ideal for someone just arriving in NYC
or someone who lives in the city and is not bringing
along furniture. Its also very cost effective compared to moderate cost hotels if you plan On using less than a monthly stay. But I am renting room on a monthly basis. How many nights yoy sleep in the room is your business.

Since I am retired and spend a great amt. of time in apt. I am not interested in persons who WFH.
Since this is a one br. apt. (flex 2bd) I am not interested sharing with a 3rd person. If I were i would rent it to a couple and charge much more. Which I have done in the past, so no overnights allowed.

My apartment is a 755 sqft flex 2 br meaning a divider is installed in the living room to create a second bedroom ( mine ). The vast majority of the ads you see on spare roomare for 2 bed apts are converted units. This also applies to 3 bed apts.

L train, multiple bus lines, citi bike & ferry- short walk
Trader joes, target, C town close by.
Short walk to many restaurants - numerous take out/deliver joints.
Gym extra cost up the block

Stuyvesant town was built to house returning WW 2 soldiers and their families. But as time went by others could rent.

You are occupying a room meant for 2 people. It is large because it was intended to house a couple and a crib for an infant.
Stuyvesant started to allow sharing in the late 1990 's
it is common for share apts to turn over constantly ( tenants come and go ) and with each change there is a rent increase.
I have occupied apt for 25 years and my rent has not risen as fast.

Photos # 1 through 6 are of your room and the furnishings that are included. The room gets good wifi reception.
Large window gets great morning sun. Good daylight
and cool breezes from the N. E. windows and river and Brooklyn views in fall and winter.

I am seeking an adult to occupy this room , someone who is honorable, dependable and I can trust.
Especially someone I can get on well with and would enable if they wished to live here for many years.

I am a coll. grad, been married , lived with a # of woman but not as roommates. I have traveled extensively enjoy going to museums & visiting antiquity sites. I like greek food & ethnic rest.

Rent is $1880.00 monthly
Includes all utilities, internet, a few premium streaming channels
Also, a security deposit of $1880.00 payed on move in day which will returned in cash on move out day.
