Room in prime East Village location

Hi all! My name’s John and I’m looking for a roommate to fill a bedroom in the East Village (my current roommate is buying an apartment), available 6/1 (move-in date flexible). The lease ends 10/31, but I'd ideally like to find someone interested in renewing in November. The apartment is right across the street from Tompkins Square Park and places like Miss Lily’s and Niagara.

The available bedroom has two windows with really great south-facing light. It has a pretty decent closet, but there’s also room for a dresser if needed. The living room has a couch and a 65-inch TV. There’s also room for a desk. The apartment has a dishwasher and there is laundry in building.

A little bit about me: I’ve been in NYC for the past 10 years and have been in the East Village for the past 9. I love the area and don’t see myself leaving anytime soon. I’m a really chill roommate - in my free time, I like working out, biking/walking around, watching movies (big Oscars fan), and exploring the city with friends. Currently working in the entertainment industry at a talent agency. LGBT-friendly a must
