ABOUT THE APARTMENT
- max 20 minute walk to any New School or NYU building
- prewar, high ceilings, wooden floors, exposed brick
- gorgeous view of the sunset from the fire escape
- quintessential East village apartment with an amazing location: across from VanLeweens Ice Cream, two blocks down from Velsekas, one block down from Saint Marks, one block over from McSorelys Pub
- quiet street, the back room is great for light sleepers
- apartment furnished
- back room fits a twin bed and comes with a bed frame and a mattress
- has a video intercom that allows you to buzz people in via a mobile app
- dish washer
- lots of storage space in kitchen
- never seen a single rodent or bug but if one appears an exterminator comes to the building once a month.
- 3rd floor walk up

WHO I?M LOOKING FOR:
- a young 20 something, possibly a fellow student
- someone looking to have a positive roommate experience and hopefully become friends
- good at open communication and doesn?t bring a ton of drama home to maintain a good energy in the apartment.
- I?ve only lived with people who have identified as female but if we vibe we vibe! Across the board this space is a no judgement zone

WHAT I?M LIKE AS A ROOMMATE:
i consider myself fairly clean because i don?t mind doing hardcore housework. any mess i have tends to be isolated to my own room or in spaces where i work, but i am always striving to become a tider person.
Like everyone, I have a couple pet peeves:
1. hair left in the shower.
2. not washing dishes all the way.
3. passive aggression
Outside of these I consider myself a fairly chill person! I can?t hold grudges and will always try to be as empathetic as I possibly can. I truly believe in actively working to maintain good roommate relationships. I?m not a fan of conflict and think mutual respect and honesty are crucial. If there?s something that bothers you, we can have a thoughtful conversation about it and work to adjust the problem!
I like having a friend or two over, and a roommate who does too. It?s a fairly quiet building with a lot of night life around, but it?s always nice to form new friendships.
I?m also a big fan of roommate nights and casually hanging out!

- I grew up with two siblings: an older brother and a younger sister.
- I study psychology at the New School.
- I?m a bit hippie dippy in my politics
- I have a tattoo of the leo constellation and love crystals and drying flowers
- i really love design, and my taste has a bit of a modern inclination. (naturally i love fashion too.)
- 420 friendly
- buddhist
- at times i can be quite extroverted but i always need to recharge afterwards.
- a bit of a health nut but like everyone i go through phases. consequently, i love cooking and working out; my typical day features both. i always have a lot of fun doing little challenges and love to do them as a team!
