Quiet room in a great building

My previous roommate said it’s the quietest room he’s ever lived in in NYC. It’s a great neighborhood with easy access to the subway and the bus and it’s close to Central Park. The room has furniture left behind by the previous roommate but it doesn’t need to stay if you have your own.
I’m in my early forties, I love to cook and I like to keep the apartment clean. I’m respectful of personal property and space, and want anyone to feel like they are home. I work on-site 5 days a week, with days off in the middle of the week. I am an artist and art lover, who also loves books and music.
