The apartment: Rent a lovely room for $1042 in East Harlem, utilities included. We have a lovely, large bedroom with a walk-in closet in a three bedroom apartment in East Harlem. The apartment includes a large living room, a dishwasher, a lot of storage space, a double vanity bathroom and a West facing balcony with amazing views of Harlem. The apartment is on the 29th floor of a 33 story building that is equipped with elevators, security and a laundry room. We are close to the 4,5,6 train, the metro north, plenty of buses and the 2,3 train is a short 5 minute walk. We are also close to plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, parks, shopping and entertainment.

About the roommates:
A: A is a mid 20?s woman who is a working professional. She enjoys cooking, exploring the city and reading. She is quite and considerate. She enjoys her alone time but also doesn't mind having interesting conversations with her roommates .

K: K is a late 20?s queer woman of color who works with youth, enjoys cooking and baking, watching tv, and hanging out in her community garden. She is very low key and down to earth person.

About you: We are looking for a responsible, friendly, clean, LGBTQ friendly roommate for long term. While we love pets, we ask for no pets in the apartment. Also cigarette smoking in the apartment is not permitted.

We ask for: A security deposit and one month rent equivalent of $2084 to move in.
