Looking for someone to take over my lease in a prime Lower East Side/Chinatown location, just minutes from the B/D/F trains (Grand St, East Broadway) and a 10-minute walk to Trader Joe’s, with plenty of Asian grocers and great restaurants nearby. The apartment is a third-floor walk-up with a huge living room, dining area, two sofas, a full kitchen, and a clean bathroom. The available room is spacious, comes furnished with a full-size bed and mattress, and gets beautiful morning sunlight. There’s enough space for a desk, drawers, and storage.

I’ve lived here for two years and am moving out to live with my partner. My roommates and I find our own sublease to keep rent stable when someone moves out. You’ll share the space with two quiet, respectful, and creative roommates—one working at a museum and the other at a bar. The apartment is peaceful, with lots of privacy.

The total rent will be $3700 per month, and your portion will be $1205. A security deposit is required (one month's rent); the lease ends on Sept 30 and is open to renewal. Move-in details are available upon request and for negotiation—message me if interested!
