Looking for a new roommate to sign a year-long lease for this 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chelsea. New lease to be signed Sept 1st, but could have some move in flexibility in August. Private room (pictured here) will be unfurnished. It has double-exposure windows and a tall closet.

My roommate is moving out of the city to start graduate school in the fall, so we're on the hunt for her replacement. I'm a young professional in the fashion industry. We'll get along if you are considerate, tidy, liberal, social and enamored with New York. Bonus points if you enjoy Bravo marathons, book clubs, and all the music from Insecure. This is a pet- and drug-free apartment.

Some additional details:
- Move-in is flexible. Room could be available as soon as August, but lease officially starts on September 1.
- Located at 19th Street and 8th Avenue; less than 5 minute walk to 1, L and ACE trains
- Bedroom is 130 sq feet - large enough for queen bed, dresser, bookshelf and small desk.
- 4th floor walkup in a gated enclave so you can receive packages safely sans doorman
- Laundry in building
- Responsive superintendent
- Neighborhood is loads of fun and very equipped - close to the High Line, Whitney Museum, endless art galleries, Chelsea Market, Meatpacking District, Chelsea Piers, shopping, restaurants and tons of gyms/fitness studios
- Friendly, low key, quiet neighbors
- Furniture pictured will also be moving out of the city, but I'm prepare to buy new- think West Elm, Birchlane vibes. Kitchen is also fully stocked, but if you have some communal items, we can chat about it. I'm open.
- $1875/month, with utilities generally running $50-70/month.
- We currently don't have cable, but make do with the usual streaming services: Hulu, Netflix, HBO, Bravo.
- Cleaning person is $60 per roommate 1x per month. Open to bi-monthly, if that's more your speed.
- Security deposit is one month's rent.
