Spacious room with an attached private backyard available in Hell's Kitchen. I have to move out for family reasons, so I'm posting my room as a sublease. The room is located in a first floor apartment (yes, no walk-up) of a residential building, so street noise is never an issue at all. The room is large enough to fit a full-size bed, desk, dresser, nightstand, TV, bookcase, and closet- I'm open to leaving some of my furniture as well.

In-unit laundry is also available in the apartment, so someone who doesn't mind sharing would be an ideal fit. The building also has an elevator with rooftop access (perfect for summer). All the modern amenities (dishwasher, oven/microwave, even a filtered water system) included. No doorman, but the apartment has a camera buzz-in security system to let guests into the building which is arguably even more safe.

The current lease ends on March 31st with an option to renew, and there is also flexibility to re-negotiate the price as well at that time. Utilities/wifi not included- usually comes out to between $50-100 a month per person. The other pictures shown within are the kitchen, living room, bathroom, backyard, and rooftop.

The building is between 9th/10th and 49th St, so it's a 5-10 minute walk to over half of the major subway lines (1,2,3, A, C, E, N, R, Q, W, B, D, F, M). Also walking distance from either Penn Station or Grand Central, as well as Central Park, The High Line, Bryant Park, Times Square, and more. Everything needed is close by- cleaners, grocery stores, pharmacies, coffee shops, great bars, etc.
