I’m looking for someone who’s fairly sane, clean and employed to rent out the second bedroom in my apartment. Looking for ONE person with a full time 9-5 job, financially stable, always active and is enjoying everything New York has to offer, keeps to themselves and cleans after themselves without being asked to and is willing to do their share to keep the apartment clean.

$950 including utilities. (Except for summer months) Furnished 1 room in a 2-BR apartment in a fantastic location, near everything! (Chinatown/L. E. S/SOHO/East Village/Tribeca) I have been living here for 10 years and I almost literally don’t have to leave the neighborhood for anything. Everything I need is within walking distance.

THE APARTMENT:
2-Bedroom
5-floor walk-up
Small kitchen/LIGHT COOKING
Separate toilet and shower

Please note that I am using the "living space" as my work area.

Walking distance to little Italy, SoHo, East Village, steps from bars, restaurants, take-outs, shops & cafes, nightlife, parks, etc.

2 minutes to B, D train and close to J, M, Z, Q, N, R, 6, F, M train and many bus routes nearby.

THE ROOM:
8x8, Furnished with a single bed, AC and heat, shelves, drawers and a closet in the living room for hanging/extra storage. Lots of natural sunlight and quiet. Single occupancy – NO COUPLES!

ME:
Female, in my 30’s, Actor/Server/Bartender. More on the night schedule, so looking for someone with the opposite. When I’m home, I keep to myself, mostly staying in my room.

IMMEDIATE MOVE-IN! First month’s rent + security deposit to move-in = $1900 or PRORATED.

Looking for a minimum 6-month (trial period) to 1-year lease and month-to-month after.

No smoking, NO DRUGS, NO BRING-THE-PARTY-HOME or boyfriend staying overnight regularly, please. The place is not big enough for 3 people.
