Per July 1 (or June 15), I have a room (about 80 sqf) available in my 4-br apartment in the East Village (273 E 3rd Street, corner Ave C, 1st floor walk up). It has a loft bed. You would share 1 bathroom and an eat-in kitchen. I'm looking for a quiet roommate m/f mid 20s-40s.

Easy going, friendly living environment. The apartment is generally quiet so you can enjoy a good night's sleep. It's walking distance from Astor Place (15 min), Union Square (20 min) near to NYU.

Your share of rent would be $1,135.80plus expenses - The monthly utilities for coned, Wi-Fi, service, with cleaning svc are about $177.41 so total about $1,330.21 per month. House expenses such as cleaning supplies and toilet paper are additional. AC use during the summer is additional, too.

It's a 3 month minimum. To move in you pay 1st month and 1 month deposit. It's month-to-month with two month notice (60 days, first of the month) if you decide to move.

Proof of ability to pay is requested along with authorization to run a background check at your expense estimated at $43. A guarantor may be needed if you do not have sufficient credit history.

The room is for one person only, no couples, please. No pets.
