Hello! Looking for a roommate for a room that's available now in West Roxbury. The lease I’m runs through May 31, 2027, and the landlord is open to signing a separate lease for the new tenant if you prefer a different timeline.

About the place:
2BR/1BA duplex, washer/dryer in basement, nice patio. The available room has 2 coat closets and enough space to comfortably fit a queen mattress with a dresser and desk. The unit includes an updated kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of common space between the dining area and living room. The common space is already furnished with a couch, TV, and small kitchen table with chairs.

The nearest transit is the commuter rail Highland stop, just under a mile away. There are nearby bus stops with routes to the Forest Hills Orange Line station.

The owner is an excellent and available landlord; he does a lot of repairs himself and hires out when needed. No broker fee; move-in costs may be flexible but expect first/last month. Landlord prefers no pets, but a cat would be acceptable.

About me:
I'm a 26yo man working a hybrid job in financial technology. I'm in the office in Acton on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I like to read, play Marvel Rivals, go to EDM shows and catch movies in theaters. I moved here from Florida a little over a year ago, and I like walking in the nearby Arnold Arboretum or taking the T to Boston Common.
