Seeking mature, progressive female roommate to share a 2nd floor, light filled 2 bedroom apartment very close to Roslindale Village. I am in the process of moving in and hope to find someone for November or December. I am in my mid-50s, and work at a college downtown. I go to the office 3 days a week and work from home the other 2 days. I'm moving out of my 1 bedroom apartment and rented this 2 bedroom in the hopes of finding a roommate to reduce living costs. The rent for the toom is $1,500/month, plus utilities.

The apartment has a large living room, dining room, updated kitchen with a giant french door refrigerator and a back porch. There are mini-splits in almost every room, a washer and dryer in the unit and basement storage. There is also a sunroom or small 3rd bedroom that can be used for an office if a work from home space is needed.

The apartment is less than a 10 minute walk from Roslindale Village. These photos are from the realtor's Zillow listing - this is not my furniture. My style is more eclectic; most of my furniture was gifted by friends or from Restore and other local used furniture places, and so there is an opportunity to furnish and decorate the space together.

I am friendly and communicative with a good sense of humor. I like to cook healthy food and spend about 4 evenings at home a week relaxing and watching television. I typically stay at my partner's house for 1 or 2 nights on the weekend. I enjoy a glass of wine a few times a week, enjoy the outdoors and spending time with friends. My ideal roommate would be at about the same stage of life as me, share similar values, be a good communicator and be pretty clean and tidy.
