Looking for Roommate in current 2Bed 2Bath

Living room

I currently live in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in a managed building called Avenir by North Station (West End / North End area. I’m looking for a roommate to take my old roommates place when he moves out to go to grad school this summer.

The new lease would run beginning of August 2026 - end of July 2027. Move-in date can be flexible give or take a couple weeks as well.

A little more about me is that I’m 27 and work for a management consulting firm. I keep things tidy around the apartment, and I like to watch sports and explore different parks, neighborhoods, and bars in the Boston area. I like to read, play softball, play pickleball, and ski as well.
If you're interested please reach out before Friday May 29th because I'm ideally looking to make a decision on whether or not to renew the lease before then.

Building
Avenir Building at 101 Canal St
Building amenities include doorman/concierge, gym, lounge/office space, roof deck with great views
Easy access to multiple T lines (Orange, Green)
Right across the street from a Star Market and CVS
Very close to some nice parks and North End restaurants as well

Apartment
The apartment is on the 8th floor of the building! It includes centralized AC and an in-unit washer dryer as well as a full kitchen. As mentioned earlier it is a two bedroom, two bathroom.
Common area in the apartment will stay fully furnished, very comfortable place to come back to after a long day
The smaller bedroom is the one available (currently comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, and bookshelf as well as a dresser within the closet)

Rent
Smaller bedroom rent would be ~$2,250 - $2,300 depending on negotiations for the renewal.
Lease renewal offer currently came back at $4,800 total. Our current rent is $4,550 so hoping to negotiate this down if possible.
I'm willing to be flexible on how to split rent if you have a strict budget
~$60 monthly per person for electricity and internet (building has central AC/heat)
