Hi everyone! I am looking for a roommate to fill one open room in our apartment at Allston. Move-in date is June 1st.

Rent: $1350 (heat included)
Utilities: around $80 (electricity, gas + internet)

About the room:
The room is bright and gets good natural light. It should comfortably fit the usual bedroom setup like a bed, desk, dresser, and other essentials. It’s a good option for someone looking for a simple, comfortable room in a very convenient Allston location.

About the apartment:
The apartment has a spacious shared living area, a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage, and is generally clean and well-maintained. The common spaces are comfortable without feeling crowded. There is a parking lot and two laundry rooms in the building basement. The room is generally unfurnished but the my old roommate might be willing to sell his stuff.

Location:
The apartment is right in the heart of Allston, with tons of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and shops within walking distance. It’s also 5 minute walk to the Green Line and multiple bus routes, making it convenient for BU, BC, downtown Boston, Cambridge, and the surrounding area.

About me:
I’m an engineer currently working in Waltham. I’m friendly but fairly independent/low-key. We keep the apartment clean, quiet, and respectful, and we’re looking for someone with a similar vibe. Good balance between being social and having personal space — overall a pretty chill living environment.
