Living room

Hi everyone! We are 2 women looking for another person to join our 3-bedroom apartment in Washington Square, Brookline. The room would be available September 1st.

📍 The location is fantastic:

Quiet, safe neighborhood
Very close to the Green Line C branch
Walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and Star Market
About a 15-minute walk to both Cleveland Circle and Coolidge Corner, so you have plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options in either direction
🚗 A couple of things to know about the building/location:
There is no overnight parking available, so this would ideally be a good fit for someone without a car. If you do have a car, you would need to arrange parking on your own.
There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat just one block away on Beacon Street, which is very convenient.
💰 Rent: $1,050/month
Heat and hot water are included. Electric and internet are separate and vary depending on the season/usage.
🛏️ The room:
The room is the third bedroom toward the front of the apartment and comes with an indoor porch/sunroom with a great view. It’s a really nice bonus space and gives you a little extra breathing room.

One important thing to know: there is no storage outside of your bedroom, so we're looking for someone who doesn't have a ton of stuff. The apartment already has all the basics you need in the kitchen — plates, cups, silverware, cookware, bakeware, etc. — so you won't need to bring a whole household with you.

Someone who is:

Reliably employed and financially stable
Trustworthy and responsible
Good with communication, bills, and chores
Clean and respectful of shared spaces
Enjoyable to be around, but also totally comfortable doing your own thing
Chill, flexible, and able to go with the flow of the existing household vibe
Ideally someone who doesn't cook a ton (our kitchen setup/lifestyle may be a good fit for you if that's you!)
No pets, but you must be comfortable living with a cat 🐈
A little about us: My current roommate and I are both pretty chill and outgoing. We work full-time, one of us remotely and one hybrid, and we like to stay busy—but we absolutely have our lazy days too. We enjoy cooking, watching TV and movies, chatting about pretty much everything (news, pop culture, fashion, DIY, random stuff…), and we laugh a lot. We're looking for someone who fits naturally into that kind of environment.
Most importantly, we want the apartment to feel comfortable, safe, peaceful, and easygoing for everyone. We're not looking for someone who needs to be best friends with their roommates, but we'd love to find someone who's friendly, respectful, communicative, and happy with the overall vibe of the household.
