Private room available in Somerville (Winter Hill)

Hello! My roommate and I are looking for a roommate to sign on a full-year lease for a 9/1 move-in date in our top floor (3rd floor), 3 bed 1 bath apartment. NO BROKER FEES.

Here's a detailed summary of the apartment:

- Lovely, quiet Winter Hill neighborhood in Somerville with multiple local restaurants, bakeries, salons, pharmacies, parks, etc.
- LGBTQ+ friendly space
- Rent is $1,125 per month. Utilities are an extra $50-$150 (internet, gas, electricity). Heat and hot water are included.
- Unfurnished room with two windows that let in lots of natural light, and doesn't face the main street.
- Furnished living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and two balcony porches (front and back).
- In-unit washer and dryer
- Kitchen: Dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and walk-in pantry
- Direct stair access from the apartment to the basement for extra storage
- Multiple transit stops: the 89 and 101 buses are a minute away by walking. The 89 bus in particular connects to the Red and Orange Lines. The 80 and 95 buses are 10 minutes away by walking. 3 Green Line T stops (Ball, Magoun, Gilman Squares) are all within 15 minutes of walking.
- Assembly Row is 25 minutes away via bus and 10 minutes via biking (access to Stop & Shop and Trader Joe's for groceries)
- On-street parking available. A permit is required, but the Medford border is a few minutes away by walking, and no permit is needed on the Medford side.
- A really nice landlord who's also very responsive to maintenance and repair requests.
- Lots of plants!

Unfortunately, our apartment is not pet-friendly. Really sorry!

A bit about us:

- My name's Amartya or AJ for short (27M, He/Him). I've been living in Somerville for 2 years now, and for 9 years in the Greater Boston area. I'm currently a mechanical engineer for a science education company. I LOVE everything that's cat-related (no cat of my own so I hang out often with friends who have cats haha). I also like video games/board games, anime, arts/crafts (embroidery, sewing, etc.) going to conventions, and cosplaying.
- My roommate Ryder (33M, He/Him) works remotely as a data manager for a telemedicine company. He has been living around the Boston area for more than 10 years. He enjoys baking, tennis, music and theater. He also likes board games and hosts game nights occasionally.

We're looking for someone who is clean, friendly, respectful, and good at communication. We have our own schedules but communicate regularly in terms of keeping common spaces clean, sharing utilities costs, or needing help with anything in general.
