Large, bright, furnished bedroom in Spring Hill

Hi, I have a large furnished bedroom available in a shared apartment in Spring Hill, available 9/1 - 10/31. $1600/mo includes all utilities, internet, and even a small annex room you can use as an office and/or closet.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT: We’ll be sharing a common bathroom, living room, and kitchen, which are fully furnished and equipped. The kitchen is stocked with all our culinary needs. The living room is cozy and looks out over the yard. We’ve even got some plants to try to keep alive! Of course, there's room to negotiate on anything you might want/need to bring in. We've got an in-unit washer and dryer, central air, dishwasher, garbage disposal, a great backyard with a grill, some hardwood flooring, granite countertops (Is it weird to put the countertops in here?... I know some people really love their granite countertops... ), and we even have some houseplants to keep alive (or not…). The only thing we don't have is off-street parking. So if you have a car, you'll need to get a Somerville permit.

ABOUT THE AREA: We're in a great location that makes it easy to get almost anywhere with public transportation. It's a quick 7 min to the Gilman Square Green Line T Station and 15 min walk to the Union Square Green Line T Station, so it's super easy to get to Tufts, downtown, and Boston University that way. Central Sq, Porter Sq, Harvard Sq and University, and Davis Sq red lines are all walkable within 25-35 minutes to catch the red line.

12 minute walk to a lot of great coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and bars around the Union Square area. Market Basket Grocery and Walgreens pharmacy are about 10 minute walks.

ABOUT ME: I'm a laid-back, professional male in my mid-40's, looking to share this great 2 bed/1 bath apartment for the next couple months. I work remotely and have my own business, so sometimes I'm home, sometimes I head out to coworking spaces and for meetings. While I enjoy an evening of cooking and watching a movie or show to relax, I often head out for various volunteer or social activities at night. On weekends, I like to go see my fam/friends or hit the road to go explore with my camera.

ABOUT YOU: Someone who is able to keep a courteous, if not friendly vibe in the apartment, helps keep the common areas neat, and pays rent on time.

While I prefer a solo roommate (as there we are sharing 1 bathroom), I will consider couples at an increased rent.

The pics are from today (8/25) with my roommate's move-out process still in progress, but they will be all moved out by 8/31.
