Private Room & Office in Somerville

We’re on Hancock St in Somerville, which is a 5-10 min walk from both Davis and Porter. We have in-unit laundry and are on the 2nd/3rd floor. The room comes with a separate smaller office. Rent is $1400/month plus utilities (avg $70, landlord covers gas).

My wife and I are both around 30 years old and are looking for a roommate to share our apartment. I work remotely from home as a solutions consultant in tech, and my wife has a hybrid work schedule. We enjoy staying active, playing sports, exploring the Boston area, traveling, and spending time with friends.

We’re friendly and easygoing, but home is generally a place for us to relax and recharge. Since I work from home, we appreciate a reasonably quiet environment during the workday. We keep common areas clean, communicate openly, and are respectful of each other’s space and schedules. We occasionally have friends over but aren’t big partiers.

We’re looking for a roommate who is considerate, reliable, and reasonably tidy. We’d love to find someone who values a comfortable, low-drama living environment and is happy to share a home with a young married couple.
