No Fee Newton Corner

Hi, all! We are looking for a roommate to join our Newton Corner 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house with parking for a lease running April 1st, 2026 through May 31, 2027. There is some flexibility to move in early.

We are a quiet household of three professionals of varying ages and mixed genders looking for our 4th. Mostly everyone is busy with work and hobbies outside the home, but can often be found chatting in the kitchen catching up in the evenings. We're looking for someone who is responsible, fairly quiet, cleans up after themselves, and can gladly respect others' need for downtime. We are LGBTQIA+ welcoming and are looking for a great fit, so please tell us a little bit about yourself, your life routines, your moving timeline, and any other information (related to your schedule or anything else) that might be relevant.

**Please be aware that the management company's screening process includes a thorough background check, credit check, and a reference check.**

-Rent is $887.50 plus utilities & WiFi (split between 4 people, usually an extra $45-$60/month). Rent increases to $912.50 on 6/1/26.
- Move-in costs: $887.50 for first months rent. No security deposit or last month.
- Lease runs through May 31st, 2027.
- This second floor room is 14’ x 14’ and has high ceilings, a medium closet inside the room and a small closet outside the room, and four windows that are north and east facing.
- There’s a bathroom w/ shower stall on the floor shared with one other person.
- There is a small terrace upstairs, shared with one other person.
- Accessibility: There are 5 steps up to the entrance, and a full flight of stairs up to the 2nd floor.
- No additional pets (there is one caged box turtle in the house), no smoking, no vaping

Household in general:
- There is a large front porch and a backyard for use.
- Laundry is in the basement ($2/wash, $2/dry, paid with rent through the portal) with a full staircase down.
- There is some availability for storage in the basement.
- Each room comes with one parking spot in the driveway—tandem with the other roommates.
- There is no guest parking in the driveway.
- No smoking and unfortunately no more pets (there is a turtle in the living room).
- The Landlord lives in a neighboring house, but there is a management company who handles rent and maintenance requests through a portal.
- Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Star Market, Stop &Shop, Walgreens, and CVS are all less than 2 miles away.
- Watertown Square is just over a mile away. Major bus lines to downtown, Brighton, Allston, Brookline, and Cambridge are two blocks away.
- The YMCA is down the street, Oak Square and Newton Center are close, you can get on the Charles River path easily, and there is lots of green space all around.
