1 Bed in 2 Bedroom House w/ Laundry, Parking, Yard

Hello! I am currently looking for a roommate in a single family home I’m renting in Melrose. It is a quick Bus ride to Oak Grove (Orange line) or a 30 minute walk if you like to hoof it like me. It is also a stone's throw from grocery stores, bars, restaurants, YMCA, and other amenities you can find in Melrose Center.

The available room is the one from the pictures above that looks like a bedroom lol (and FYI the room with the stationary bike will be transformed into a 2nd bedroom). It is 13ft x 9.75 with plenty of closet space and will not come furnished.

All other spaces are shared: large yard/ BBQ area, kitchen, dining room, living room, storage in basement, storage in shed, and mudroom/ entryway. If you are coming with a lot of stuff then awesome, we will find space for it and if not I have plenty of furniture/ cookware etc for everyone to use and enjoy. There IS a laundry/dryer in the unit and (if you cook) there is a gas stove.

About your potential roomie(s) - I am in my late 30’s, I bartend downtown as well as am building a portfolio for online content (blogs/ ads/ blah blah blah) and am studying for my real estate license. I generally like to be out and about on my days off (if time allows me) to go up north and hike/ snowboard or head downtown to hang out with friends. I have a 10 yr old 70 lb Goldendoodle named Brody who loves people (always very excited to meet new people haha) and is impeccably trained. If you have a dog that could be negotiable if a- they get along with Brody and b- the landlord is cool with your breed etc

Speaking of the landlords they are very cool and super attentive. I have been here for several years and if there is an issue they are very quick to respond as well as help resolve it. They’re also just nice/ good people, super chill, and you couldn’t ask for much more.

Who are you? I’m pretty open minded to anyone and whatever walk of life they come from. I myself have done quite a bit of traveling and had many different roommates. Everything and anything is a conversation, so if you communicate well then we will probably get along. Some qualifications however are: you must be employed/ have income, must have good credit, and it’d probably be easier if you liked dogs obviously haha. Also, the landlord will be writing up an agreement to be signed by all parties involved. No couples (Sorry).
