3BR 2BA Apartment Shared w/ Elderly Lady

The three bedroom, two bath apartment is spacious with lots of windows and light. The apartment overlooks the back of the property, having a back patio area with some privacy. It is close to the clubhouse, pool, and grill area. The clubhouse has a large gym and yoga studio plus a lounge with a pool table.

The room currently has furniture in it which can be moved or left for use of a new roommate. The living room and dining room are also furnished.

The pictures show that paintings haven't been hung yet in case a new roommate wants to add some of their own. We're still getting some things unpacked and arranged in the kitchen and living room. There's a small TV shown but it's broken and we haven't had a chance to get another one.

Rent includes internet but does not include: utilities, parking ($15/month), cable, pet fees, security deposit ($375 as listed above), pet deposit.

My mom is elderly and had a car accident 3 years ago, with the anesthesia causing a brain injury. Prior to the injury, she was very tech savvy, self-published some books, started her own website. She is pretty quiet now and much less active. She attends senior activities several days per week and comes to my house (her daughter's house) in the afternoons to hang out and then have dinner before heading back to her apartment. She typically goes to bed soon after getting home so a new roommate will often have the apartment to themselves.

My mom used to be an avid reader and still likes conversations on books, though she will mostly listen and give short answers or just head nods. She is friendly and really likes to be around people, and it helps her get better. But she doesn't initiate conversations or activities beyond saying hi, so a roommate will have as much of their own space as they need.

There are lots of books in the apartment (and more to be moved still) since my mom was such an avid reader.

She is sensitive to too much light and noise so is best paired with someone who is relatively quiet. Her bedroom is on the other side of the apartment and pretty isolated from noise when she is in bed sleeping.
