Bed and bath with beautiful view in East Cambridge

Hi! I'm seeking a roommate starting 9/1 for at least 12 months.

My current roommate is moving in with his girlfriend so I'm trying to find someone to fill his one bedroom and personal bathroom by Cambridge Crossing for $2300/month. It's a 2-bed/2-bath located on Museum Way in East Cambridge a few minutes away from the Lechmere green line stop or the Community College orange line stop. It's the perfect location to getting anywhere in the city by walking, train, bike, or bus. Tons of natural light and the view overlooking the city seen in the pictures is directly from the living room window. This view can also be seen from the bedroom. The building comes with a great fitness center, lap pool, bike room, and guest valet parking (I'm currently using the resident parking spot for the apt, but happy to take you with me on grocery runs). The living space may still be partially furnished after my current roommate moves out.

About me: I’m 26 years old and a BME PhD student at Tufts that spends most weekdays on campus. Would love to be friends but home is where I like to unwind and decompress so I also like to do my own thing at the apartment. I cook pretty much all of my meals myself but I always clean up after myself and don’t leave any of my things lying around for too long. I dont have pets (no pets allowed in the apt) but I have a girlfriend that might stay over some nights or I might stay over at her place on other nights. Some of my outdoor hobbies are biking, sailing, skiing, and running, while my indoor hobbies include playing video games (mostly party games with friends on my PC or stuff like Hollow Knight on my Switch), reading, cooking, and growing plants that may or may not take up a solid corner of the living room. I like hanging out in the living room and I’m comfortable with us both using the shared spaces or reserving them for ourselves if we want to have friends over. Pretty much everyone I know would tell you I’m a chill guy–if there’s something you ever wanna talk about, you can ask! I’m pretty direct and not the type to be passive aggressive or play mind games.
