Furnished room for short term rent, or month-to-month on first floor of spacious, light filled, split level ("Philadelphia style") corner condo in East Arlington. Start date mid May 2026. Furnished bedroom is on the main floor, and the unit owner's bedroom is up a set of stairs, thus offering privacy to both the tenant and owner. The room is comfortably furnished with a queen bed, bedside table, and desk. The room has two closets, natural light, and boasts two entrances - one to the hallway, the other to the kitchen -perfect for midnight snacks or early morning coffee. Ideal for visiting grad students or academic staff, traveling medical professionals, or anyone who needs a short term place to check out the Boston area.

Rent is $1850/month, inclusive of utilities (electric, gas, wifi, water). The unit has central heating and cooling, and off-street, secure garage parking.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils for your cooking needs, as well as a dishwasher for easy clean up. The grocery store is a short walk up the street. There are several other grocery stores within easy driving (and bussing) distance. You have access to the entire furnished home during your stay, with the exception of the upstairs bedroom.

There is a bus directly to Harvard a 10 minute walk from the home, with the stop conveniently located in front of the historic Capitol theatre and locally owned delicious Quebrada bakery. Located steps from a quiet walking path, and within proximity to several coffeeshops and restaurants.

The bus at the end of the street connects travelers to the red line train in trendy Davis Square. The bus also stops in Porter Square where you'll find a shopping center that includes, among other shops, a local favorite independent bookstore. Continue on the bus to recently rebuilt Union Square to enjoy hand crafted donuts and ice cream, while taking a ride on the new green line trains into the center of Boston.

The condo is pet welcoming, particularly to a dog of any size and breed, so you can travel with your beloved companion. There is a monthly $100 pet fee. One pet limit preferred, but open to being flexible.

A free washer/dryer is located in the basement. The basement also boasts ample storage space for any bicycles or other storage you may want to bring.

One of the many features of the condo is the shared garden, containing raised beds for vegetables, as well as rain barrels, and landscaping. Condo's private back porch is great for warm weather relaxing, and entertaining.
