Seeking one roommate (no couples) to share this spacious apartment in Arlington close to Mass Ave and Brattle Street.

I'm open to a to rental periods of 3 months to one year beginning June 1.

You get the upper floor of a two-floor apartment. As you come up the stairs, there is a large living and office space. There is an adjustable height desk available for your use if you want it. Any other furniture will need to be provided by you.
Off the living area is your private bedroom with hardwood floors and good closet space. The bedroom is 9’ by 11’. Includes a queen bed, night stand and small chest with draws unless you want to bring your own furnishings. There's closet space in the room as well. Limited, shared storage available in the basement.

You will also have a private, full bath down the hallway from the living area. In the hallway, there are two skylights proving a lot of natural light and can be opened.
There is also a snack area with cabinets and a refrigerator for snacks and drinks.

You also get one free, off-street parking spot included, free washer/dryer, a shared kitchen, living room, dining area, backyard to relax in, living room and workout area.
There is radiant heat and central air conditioning.

This is a great situation for someone who's looking for a friendly, easy-going vibe and has a full life outside the apartment: a professional, a visiting scholar, postdoc, grad student, visiting nurse, or anyone who primarily works outside the house and values a calm, respectful home.

Arlington is a quiet, walkable town with a genuine neighborhood feel, and this house is close by Waverley Square. It's a 1-minute walk to the #77 bus, and a 30-to-40-minute bus ride to Harvard Square.

The house is in a residential neighborhood with shopping in easy walking access. We're also a 10-minute drive to TJs and Whole Foods & lots of other options.

I am semi-retired and continue to consult with technology and marketing platforms. I’m in my 70’s and active in golf, cycling and traveling for work or to visit family and friends.

No smoking and no pets permitted, per the lease.

Rent is $1,600 and includes electricity, gas, and wifi access. There's also a deposit of $1,600.
