The apt is at 382 Great Rd in Acton, a 12-min drive to major shopping centers in Littleton & Westford - Market Basket, hardware stores, Walgreens, movie theater - you name it. It’s also located in the Acton community, close to malls & retail stores like Trader Joe’s & CVS.

2BR & the living room (780 sq ft) can accommodate 3 people. Hardwood flooring throughout w/ plenty of light.

Amenities: laundry, free Wi‑Fi, hot water, snow removal, parking, etc.

Smaller BR rent: $670/m

Current residents – 2 nerds:
1. My friend Michael: an 83-yo retired electrical engineer & computer scientist. As an infant prodigy who learned to read & write by age 3, he attended Stanford at 16 on a full scholarship. For inspiration, I still keep newspaper clippings of him winning many prizes in high school.

2. Me: MIT 1992-2001: PhD prrogram in Bioengineering
Pittsburg State University: 1990-92: Chem/Bio/Math
2 gap years: 1987-89
1st job: summer 1991, converted a Fortran program studying the dynamics of molecules w/ spin-1/2 nuclei based on NMR or C13 Spectra to spin-1 nuclei based on the deuterium (DNMR) spectra. Rewrote Hamiltonian Operators, quantum eqns, e-gyromagnetic constants & so on. Computation done on an IBM RISC-6000 Unix workstation w/ a 70pp report. No one, including myself, understood what I did. But the paycheck cleared.

I've been on Nextdoor (ND) for > 5 yrs. As a prolific writer/inventor, I received both the Writer's & Visual Artist Awards, I'm less active on ND now b/c they phased out those awards due to technical issues. I’m a generalist w/ many interests: STEM, sustainability, soial justide cause. I have a disability. If you're on ND, my profile & posts should give you a good sense of who I am.

No need to pay the last month’s rent upfront, but landlady asks for 2-deposits b/c she's never rented the place to males.

You can move in anytime. ll'll move in March/April. I have renovations done on my current property, so I need to stay there for a whiile.
