1 Bedroom and 1 Bath in a 2br/2ba starting OCT 1st

My roommate is moving out, her loss, your gain. Im looking for a super cool roommate to share a large 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Hollywood/West Hollywood. Large bedroom. Full bathroom. 2 Closets. Shared kitchen, dining room, and common area. 3 Balconies (that's more balconies than people living here). Additional closets. Lots of houseplants. A/C. Somewhat decent view of the hills, but not really. Your bedroom can come furnished with a bed and desk with drawers and shelves. If you'd prefer to bring your own that's fine too.

Building has a pool. Laundry room. and Garage in the basement. Apartment is on the second floor. We have a shared parking space.

There are tons to walk to: Runyan Canyon, Ralphs, Trader Joes, 1/2 a block from a 7eleven and 1 block from a Chipotle - the neighborhood is great! The common area is nicely designed and laid out to be quite cozy. Rent is $1200 per month, not including utilities, which average out to about $100 or so. The deposit is $870. The apartment is available October 1st.

Ideally you are easy going, not a partier, considerate, and clean. Past roommates and I got along great and would often have pizza and movie nights. So friendship is included (I know right? what a deal?) The lease would be for a year with the possibility of taking over the rent controlled lease down the line.

I have a 14 year old medium size dog. He's a bit blind and deaf, but is super chill. He doesn't bark, he's house broken, follows visual/aural commands. His name is Sir Charles Barkley. He's a very good boy. However, he's old and is losing a bit of control over his bowels. Sometimes he has an accident in his sleep. If you love dogs, he's great. In fact, my work schedule often doesn't let me take him out enough, so if you're into helping walk him, we can discuss bringing down the rent price.
