Small Double, 2.5 Baths, Super Cheap Rent For Area

Small unfurnished room available for ~ approximately~ May 1st (can be later!) in a large, three-level, mid-century townhouse, right in Marina Del Rey, within walking distance of multiple supermarkets, restaurants, a lovely park, and the marina! 10-minute bike ride from Venice beach!

The interior of the unit isn’t fancy or modern in appearance, but the price is unbeatable for the location and amount of privacy - our villa has a (recently renovated) private patio that looks out onto our gated community. There is a beautiful salt-water pool in the complex that is heated in the summer months.

The room is a small double with one interior closet and another floor-to-ceiling closet in the hallway. You'd be sharing the bathroom with one female roommate. Rent is currently $1050 a month, estimated to go up to around $1150 not including utilities should landlord raise the rent (currently paying lower covid rates).

We've made the house a really cute, comfortable home in our year here, getting our landlord Joe to replace the garage door, oven, and stovetop. We have in-unit laundry, a gorgeous gas fireplace, and two parking spots in our garage, too (the spot is quite small, though!)

A little about us:
- We're Sophie & Becca, we both moved to LA in 2019
- Becca is from NJ and is a graphic designer
- Sophie is from London and works in the film industry - specifically in sci-fi and horror movies
- We're both working from home full time currently, mostly working in the patio and the living room
- We both have food quirks - Sophie is celiac and Becca is vegan
- We spend most evenings watching a lot of docu-series, tv shows, and movies

We're looking for somebody who:
- is open to socializing and hanging out
- LOVES dogs and isn’t allergic as Becca has a 12lb poodle mix called Lily
- is understanding of Becca's vegan lifestyle (minimal meat-eating preferred, although Sophie does eat meat)
- will help out with household chores (not leaving stuff out in the kitchen, helping keep the place tidy)
- No racism, homophobia, or discrimination of any kind is wanted in this house 🦋
