Spacious Artist Loft in DTLA

Hello!

We have 1 bedroom opening up in our 3-bed / 1-bath loft located at the Brewery Artist's Colony. This is a true hard loft inside the historic Pabst Brewery with roughly 2600 sq. feet of live/work space, high ceilings, and amenities including a full gym with rock climbing facilities, parking, and a bar/restaurant onsite. This is a coveted space and home to the well-known, biannual Brewery Artwalk. The room is 12'x15' and we're asking $1175/month, all utilities included.

Quick links to the Metro and the 5, 10, 101, and 110 freeways. 5 minutes from Chinatown, 10 minutes to the heart of DTLA, the Arts District, Echo Park, and Highland Park, and 15 minutes away from Silverlake.

No pets. We currently have one shy, but very sweet cat and aren't looking to add any other animals at this time.

MOVE IN DATE: 15 December, potentially sooner. Six month lease to start, which then goes to month to month thereafter. However, we would prefer someone seeking a longer term (6+ months).

WHO WE ARE: Two women in their mid-twenties working in the arts as a filmmaker and photographer, respectively. We're laid back, easy to get on with, and genuinely enjoy hanging out with each other--movie nights, yoga classes, splitting a bottle of wine or dinner at the end of a long week, going to the odd bar, gallery opening, or karaoke party together, etc.--but we also know how to respect each other's space and leave the party at the door when we come home.

WHO YOU ARE (IDEALLY): Someone working in the film, photography, or advertising/design world, a similarly adjacent industry, or perhaps someone with a 9-5 that has a keen interest in art/culture. (It's not personal, it's that we've found fellow creatives do best here.) Someone who is tidy, respectful, communicative, and drama-free. Someone fiscally responsible. Someone interested in living here for a longer lease term. Someone who would be interested in hanging out with us when they feel like it, but overall clicks with who we are in our day to day: mellow, collaborative, supportive, and fun. Be nice! Have references! Bonus points if you're into the whole 'minimalism' thing. Man, woman, or non-binary--we're open to meeting anyone who fits and are a welcoming space for all people.

First month's rent and security due at signing of the sublease agreement.
