Private Room in a 2 bed Highland Park house

I?m looking for a new roommate to share this 2 bedroom, 1 bath house located in the very popular and trendy neighborhood of Highland Park. Your room is yours alone, but we?ll share the bathroom and other standard communal spaces. You?re more than welcome to paint your bedroom, the color scheme was chosen by the previous tenants.

You?ll have full access to all of the amenities, including well stocked cookware, silverware, etc. You pretty much just need to bring a bed. The dresser in your room belongs to the landlord, but comes with the room.

The backyard/back house is occupied by another tenant, but the patio, front yard, and parking are all ours to share.

I just installed a new dishwasher and kitchen faucet (handy sprayer functions!). Fridge and pantry space are shared.

There?s a big, comfy living room couch that can sleep two adults, for those nights when you have friends stay over. The TV is leaving with my current roommate, but I plan to buy another after Christmas. At that time we?ll have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Go, Showtime, and a bunch of other apps/accounts to binge the days away.

Did I mention that this house has dense walls and solid wood doors? You seriously can?t hear the TV when the doors are closed! Good old fashioned 1920s construction.

Neighborhood Amenities:

We?re only a minute from a 110 westbound freeway entrance. There?s a bus station less than a block away, which takes you into the popular Figueroa and York eateries, drinkeries, several super markets, and highland park light rail station.

There?s a Trader Joe?s within an 8 minute drive, Light Rail, bowling alleys (yes, two!), enough coffee houses to keep you caffeinated at a different spot each day of the week, a four cinema movie theater...I mean seriously, why haven?t you moved in yet?

If you end up being my future roomie, feel free to ask me for the grand neighborhood tour. I?ve been in the area for 6+ years - I know every secret, backstreet bar and speakeasy, which places are worth the cost and those you should avoid.
