Hi there !

I'm looking for someone to share my cozy home in a converted Victorian in Highland Park! We are sharing a very large dining room, living room, kitchen and bathroom and have our own private bedrooms. The house comes with a large backyard with patio steps, and a porch in front that we share with our very sweet upstairs neighbors. We will be living with my loving grey tabby cat who enjoys being cozy with people at home and likes exploring outside! We are also just a few blocks away from all the festivities on Figueroa.

About me, I'm a female in my late twenties that's looking for someone easy going, clean and thoughtful to share my space with. I love living with a roommate because I find so much comfort in coming home to someone who enjoys the space as much as I do and who finds pleasure in home activities like catching up on each others days, wine, dinners, weekend gardening, maybe even dinner parties or gatherings here and there. I also appreciate those roommates who can understand that it's okay to retreat into your room for personal space, but also that it's okay to stay in our shared spaces together for the company. I believe in opening our home to family and friends when they visit or need a place to crash (while making sure the other is okay of course!). I want lots of open communication so that we are both comfortable and happy in our home.

More about me: I love backpacking, being outdoors, doing art projects, reading the NYTimes Sunday Paper, Hollywood Farmers market on Sundays, dinner parties with friends, wine, sake, mezcal, micheladas, so many eats, frequenting my local coffee and food spots, reading (most recent book was The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bola?o and now The Hidden Life of Trees), and many more things.

I'm looking for a new roommate because my current one is leaving the country for a new job. I'm sad to see her go because she was so great to live with but super happy for her future endeavors! She is also potentially leaving behind a queen mattress and bed frame if someone is interested!

Lease Details: Sublease that's month to month. Shared living space and bathroom but private room. No Laundry on Site, but plenty of laundromats close by. Split utilities (gas, water, electric, internet, sewage). Street Parking (plenty of parking in the neighborhood). Landlord requires soft credit check. Proof of 2.5x rent or 6x rent in bank account.
