Furnished Room Sublet Available 3/22 - 5/31

Hey all. I’m subletting a furnished bedroom in my house while the current occupant is away. Let me start off by telling you what we’re looking for in a housemate.

* You are aware and considerate of the spatial constraints of sharing a house with several people.
* You thoroughly clean up after yourself -- promptly.
* You don’t assume and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
* You don’t hide your mistakes and you take personal responsibility for your actions.
* You respect personal/household property, and realize that not everything is communal.
* You have a positive attitude, communicate well, and are trustworthy. You're occasionally silly and fun-loving, filled with genuine generosity, warmth and openness, and you enjoy TV/movie nights, household BBQs and general comradery.

Rent: $600 per month for single occupancy only
Includes: Utilities (for reasonable use), WiFi, and access to common areas
Available: March 22 till May 31 (possibly till June 30)

YOUR ROOM is approximately 130 sq ft and has a twin bed, a desk, 2 dressers, a window A/C and some of the current renter’s personal belongings.

THE HOUSE has 4 bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a dining area, a den, laundry facilities, a patio with BBQ, fire pit and a yard. Automobile parking is readily available on the street (and sometimes in the yard) and bicycle parking is available in the yard.

YOUR HOUSEMATES range in age from 30's - 40's. It's an international LGBTQ+ friendly communal household with male/female-identifying occupants, as well as two adorable and well-trained small dogs. Your housemates include a cancer researcher, a private teacher/aupair, a technology director, and me (the home owner). Two housemates currently work from home and two work outside the house.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS:
* You must have verifiable income and be able to make payments on time
* No smoking or illegal substances
* No guests allowed
* You must use the word 'monkey' in your reply
* You must be COVID serious! (Must take tests before and after moving in and wear a mask in the house until both tests come back negative.)

** You will be asked to fill out a prescreening survey. I will not be calling or showing the room to anyone until this is complete. **
