This home is located just 15 minutes from New Orleans I’m Chalmette. Major hospitals and universities are about a 20-minute drive. The home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. A public library is a few feet away which is walking distance. St. Bernard Parish has many festivals and activities throughout the year for you to enjoy. Located nearby is also Chalmette Battlefield, St. Bernard State Park, French Quarter, Jackson Square, Mississippi River, Bourbon Street, St. Bernard Fishing Charters, and National World War II just to name a few of nearby attractions for your enjoyment. The home is freshly painted and newly renovated. It is fully furnished, with all major kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer is included. There is a large backyard with a terrace to soak in the southern weather. The owner does not live on site. There are two rental options. You can rent a room which is great for college students looking for affordable off campus options. Short-term rental agreements (3-6 months) are also available for traveling professionals who wish to rent the entire visit.
